Wheelers Hill Secondary College is involved with the World Challenge Organisation in undertaking a 28 day expedition to Borneo from 21st November to 18th December 2008. The expedition involves experiential learning in a foreign country and is based on the ethos of challenge, participation and environmental awareness. The expedition has four phases – Acclimatisation, Challenge (involving both jungle trekking and climbing Mount Kinabalu), a 5 day Community project and Rest and Relaxation (involving snorkelling, relaxing on a tropical beach and visiting the Orang Utan sanctuary)
