Build Up!!
Hey all 
My name is Kris Floyd, I am the oldest member on the Borneo team, recently just finishing year 12!
This week has been really busy checking and rechecking our packs, ensuring that we have everything we will need for the month trip away.
On thursday the 20th we have a build up day at school, where we say goodbye to our families for the final time, have our gear checked by our team leader and then basically relax for the rest of the night. We are then transported to the airport for the 11:20 am flight on friday morning.
I know i speak for myself, and most likely the whole team when i say that i cannot wait to get to Borneo, after months of planning, months of fundraising events, months of part time jobs to fund the trip, we are finally going!
I think it will be THE experience of my lifetime and i will take away a number of invaluable skills, while growing closer and closer the the other team members.
im sure we will be able to make many posts while we’re away, and we look forward to sharing with you all our experiences in Borneo.
